Enjoyed this video. The Tamil word for temple Koyil seems to mean something towering or a tower which seems to be related to the Persian word Koh = mountain and Khar= thorn all from proto-Dravidian koh = a point, a mountain, a tower etc and Koh might even mean chief in proto-Dravidian.
