Spoken Word @Liberation Concert Margraten 2024

At the Liberation Concert at the American Cemetery in Margraten, student Paridhi captivated an audience of 4,000 with her powerful spoken word performance, ‘Whispers from Margraten’s Ground’, which she wrote herself. Her piece paid tribute to the sacrifices made for freedom during World War II. In 2024, we mark 80 years since the liberation of Maastricht and its surroundings. The concert was organized to commemorate these events and highlight the enduring importance of freedom.
