This would’ve have been a good opportunity for the theater to show us possibly concept art for a sequel to this game. Or maybe a future remake of another Spongebob game, such as the movie game, somthing other than art we basically already seen. That would be more worth spending 40,000 shiny objects for, somthing to surprise us with or something. But this is fine. The theater was never a really big moment for me in the game anyway.

I remember THQ Nordic said they "didn't want to interfere with the single player experience" Hence why they only had the cut content in the multiplayer. The game didn’t even start development until after the first teaser and they had to finish it during the coronavirus. THQ needed them to put it out, and so did Nickelodeon. The day one patch will probably fix some texture pop ins and glitches, but it won’t fix this terrible movie theatre...

STORY TIME: I was going for the platinum trophy and was only missing Mr Krabs' golden spatulas. I noticed the theater needed 40k and figured it must be important. I suddenly had the dilemma of picking between Krabs or seeing this(I had no clue what would play). That's when I decided to look up this video AND JESUS AM I GRATEFUL THAT I DID, GRINDING FOR MORE MONEY AFTER WASTING 40K WOULD HAVE BEEN DEMORALIZING ON A WHOLE DIFFERENT SCALE.

So, from what I'm hearing, it sounds like this remake is definitely not worth buying if you've already got the original. It seems like the only good things they actually added in this were the updated graphics, and even those are a hit-or-miss at times. Apparently everything new (mainly the multiplayer mode, one of the only actual additions to the game) sucks hard ass, few of the flaws of the first game were touched up, and in fact several things were actually SUBTRACTED from the original, with the developers hoping a shiny gloss of fresh new paint would suffice to distract you from the complete lack of innovation and creativity. Looks like I dodged a bullet saving my money. I'll stick with the PS2 classic, thanks.

Like: Spongebob BFBB SCREENSHOTS (you collect) $3,000 Unused content footage $5,000 Remake Spongebob movie game trailer $7,500 Remake Spongebob creatures from the krusty krab remake game trailer $7,500 Add any other spongebob games feom that era for so on. Death fish 2000 $20,000 (an actual 10 min mini film of a fish battling stuff or it can be an interactive mini game of a character desteoying waves of robots or other enemies from spongbob games kinda like the mini games from devil may cry only kid friendly. Just survive the waves of you lose the cinema just loses power and you can just try again.) I mean come on so many missed opertunities there!
