I'm subscribed to both Glorb and YBS, and I can't really understand how you can even compare the two. They have two completely different styles that will naturally appeal more or less to different people. Glorb's tracks tell a story and are built upon a combination of obscure references, extremely clever wordplay, and a complete lack of a filter to unleash utterly vile and heinous disses. YBS's tracks, with the exception of a few multi-partners, are one hit wonders that never involve any swearing, and instead focus on a combination of flow, eloquence, and an Encyclopedia Britannica's worth of vocabulary to unleash a firestorm of poetry to be wielded however he wishes. They are as different as they are alike. I personally prefer YBS to Glorb atm, primarily because I feel that Glorb's latest tracks have put too much emphasis on the violence and vulgarity to the point of stripping the characters of quite a bit of their unique styles, which makes sense from a story standpoint given all they've gone through, but I prefer his older vids nonetheless. As to which is better overall, well, that's up to you. Do you prefer remorseless trash talking or poetry? Do you admire the rapper who will pull out every swear and possibly even slurs to diss someone as hard as humanly possible, or do you admire the rapper who can bring almost the same level of energy and disrespect without swearing at all? Both have their place, and the community is more than big enough for both of them.

This definitely seems like it could be directed at Glorb... It seems too likely.🤔 I will say- I feel bad that YBS has gotten less views. I’ve noticed since Glorb became popular, less people have been reacting to YBS and that’s sad. He was the OG and has always had such charm that Glorb doesn’t. I always liked that about YourBoySponge. Glorb is edgy and R rated and YBS was the PG-13 charming one. What is fact is that YBS continues to put out bangers (“Lunch Rush” was fire!!) and so I hope people come back and don’t forget about the one who started it all.
