Fun fact: this is the first (and probably only) time Nickelodeon made Karen be some sort of an actual threat to Spongebob. If only there wasn’t so much convenient taser devices lying around.

There was one episode, at least, where Karen was a threat to Spongebob. She had the secret formula, and Plankton had to impress her in order to get it. After Plankton impressed her, Karen was about to share the formula when Spongebob was trying to unplug her.
