Spongebob Plug N Play Debug mode?

I was messing with the batteries on the Spongebob plug n play when I got to some sort of debug mode... It has a variety of colors and possible unused sounds... Interesting...

Interesting stuff here! That's alot of unused sounds with some of the early versions not sounding as good as the final like start game. I guess for most of these: they didn't have enough time to put them in the games, maybe? Not all of them though as it looks and sounds like alot of these are made for other TV plug and plays

It's sucks how this doesn't show the "build date" like most debug modes on the first screen in plug n plays do. Also, perty sure this unit uses a NOAC.

Actually it uses a SoC very much seperate from an NES. Plus you can clearly see it has more colors.

Yeah, otherwise by now we'd have rom rips for these games. I wonder if these plug-in-play consoles will ever be emulated... they're easy enough to find that you probably don't have to, but still interesting to try nonetheless.

Heres some history for ya, I do know one unused song thats not in the debug menu and thats the spongebob theme song. How do I know this? Well I had a plug n play exactly the same but when you turn it on the spongebob theme whould play and I wished I still had it but sadly it broke and I dont have it anymore. I got it from an ebay auction with 5 plug n plays it was a bundle. I was young at the time so I couldnt uploud it. I hope someday I stoble across one just like that one but never have. Mabey it was a prototype noone will never know and someone has one like the one I have let me know so we can help make history again.
