Yup. Dear Nickelodeon, Hollywood, Disney, Pixar, Cartoon Network, and all the animation industry studios of TV shows and movies. Let those kid-friendly and adult-friendly stories partially grow by changing those tones to dark themes. Because changing a tone from light to dark is LITERALLY nothing wrong with that! The only thing that makes it bad is the lack of balance between their original personalities when they have character development, a lot of missed potential, forcing characters to have flaws sometimes, etc.
