It's a lot easier to crush a load of lowbies. I occasionally drop down to some early PZ4s and end up with 12-18 kills pretty regularly, since people are both less experienced *and* they stick around until their lineup is done - in high tiers a lot of people just quit on their first or second death.

Attempt number 17 at getting Spookston to play any tank with a dozer blade, the catch is, he has to dig in before engaging targets. Movement around the map is allowed, but he has to dig in again.

@@PraetorianMan depending on the map I'm a big fan of digging in with the T-80UK so I can hide my lfp a bit and sometimes give myself some extra depression. It is pretty quick spaded so it can get to decent vantage points I'd say.

The as42 was a desert raiding vehicle, think sas jeeps. The shit ton of ammo is because it was meant to raid for extended periods of time independant of an operating base.

Do you know what other Italian truck-based weapon system is very "fun"? Lancia 3Ro 100/17. It has all favourite Spookston's chracteristics: it is big, slow, has zero armour, it has terrible gun rotation speed and slow shell. But it also uses big boom cannon. I also have a challenge for this vechicle: get 10 kills with it at BR 10.0 in a single match.

It’s APHE (or anti concrete) shell is I believe the second slowest shell in the game behind only the he round of the 150mm SIG. it is 244 M/S versus the 150’s 240

Speaking of taking an antitank shell to the hip, an acquaintance of mine had a forklift with a 10 meter pipe (diameter 250mm) sticking out frontally off its forks round a corner and drive through his car and impale him, driving the pole through him for about 4 meters. He's not dead, not even cripple. His hip got (entirely) reconstructed and he has a very slight limp. Missed some his digestive stuff by a few centimeters and some artery in his leg by centimeters too. He has no memory of the hours between him getting skewered and waking up in hospital with a new hip. Must be such a gruesome way to go that you don't even realize you're getting torn apart.

If you like low tier autocannons you have to try the Ta-Se. The armor piercing belt has better penetration than any of the Panzer II's belts, with half the reload and nearly triple the turret traverse.

The problem with playing the fm/42 is that it has very little ammo for an auto cannon vehicle. You get like 3 magazines and once you’re out you gotta find a cap to restock, so it’s not great for long fights

13:07 Its alright, definitely has pretty great pen for a 20 mm; the problem is it only has three belts of 36 rounds of ammo, so it definitely takes a lot of patience and know how to effectively utilize it, otherwise a cap point is the only place you'll be lol. They are both absurdly fun. My nephew refers to them as the rigatoni racers and specifically requests we play them occasionally. Best low-tier Italian vehicles, imho.
