As a Czech, I give you extra points for using a historical camo commemorating the Prague Uprising. For my non-Czech speaking bros out there: on the left-side skirts, there's a list of people killed or wounded in combat during the defense of the Czech Radio building ("Český rozhlas"). The actual Hetzer used during the combat lacked the main gun (it was an unfinished vehicle) and had different markings.

I remember in the first game in the Hetzer, I got de-tracked and got hammered for like three minutes straight by Shermans and T-34s then somehow died to an M16. All in all, 38/10 would play again.

Attempt number 10 at getting Spookston to play any tank with a dozer blade, the catch is he has to dig in before engaging. Movement around the map is allowed, however he has to dig in again before reengaging.

Fun fact : The nickname "Hetzer" was originally made for the Jadgpanzer E-10, a prototype tank but there was a administrative misunderstanding and the nickname was given to the Jagdpanzer 38t by mistake.

Doesn’t Hetzer basically translate to “flanker”? Either way, it’s the best German TD for two simple reasons: 1: cute 2: covers the Tiger 1’s LFP really good, which was neat back in the early days of ground forces

Hetzer in German comes from describing hunting with dog which is chasing the prey. It can also be used to describe humans who have a strong opinion/accuse someone about something and are making that publicly known, however that is not very common in modern German language.

Let me (as a German) give it a try. Hetzer comes from "Hetzjagd" aka "Hetze" aka "Hatz" aka "Treibjagd" ("jemanden oder etwas hetzen", would be translated as "to hunt someone or something down (in a chase)") So, yeah the literal translation should be Chaser or simply Hunter. German is such a complicated yet rich language, isn't it^^

Not sure if you know this but the camo on the hetzer is a 1 to 1 copy of a real life hetzer. Its currently being housed in Czech tank museum.

Personally, I think that arcade actually has a pretty elegant solution to the CAS issue; It could be refined a bit more, but limiting the number of planes that can be up at any given time, and giving them a maximum time they can be in the air before they're forced out and back into a ground vehicle works well. Especially if it means having to leave yourself in an undefended tank while you're in the plane.

Completely possible, side armor plates of Hetzer are made of just strengthened steel (not true armored steel) and are just 20mm thick, so they are penetrable by .50cal AP rounds below 100 meters

As always great video, fit's the first time that I'm putting a message because I coudn't not react. When you said : "this is not exactly a flanking tank" and showed the max speed of 42 km/h, I (british main who love the british heavies, I'm weird I know) was like "what do you mean not build for flanking ? This thing is SPEED itself". Also you should play the Valentine I. I think it's one of the most underated tanks both in the game and real live. I really hoping that they add the Valintine V, I want my 3 men turret on the valentine for heaven's sake !

TBH Spookston that Sherman you faced in the beginning the M4 Hybrid is a reaaaaaallly good Sherman it's hull armor is very damn trolly with volumetric and I frequently get hit by shots like that that bounce. I honestly think it's probably the best 3.7 Sherman currently.
