Sometimes it's aesthetics, sometimes it's the keywords and the energy of the deck, other times I see repeating symbols, color is another thing I pay attention to. So many things, it's definitely a personal choice.

Good idea to use the paradoxical or x-ray colours of the deviant moon to see the meanings of the cards differently or pull a different focus.

Loved your take on this theme😍 I am not a spooky Deck User 😂 the only one I have is the Trick or treat which I very love❤ I pair it with everything I like to. I do have the illustrated Version of the somnia, that I very like too. I couldn't manage to see those heads with the pieces of cloth bound over their entire heads 🙈 It's so much fun for me seeing you having so much fun with the spooky seasons ❤🎉👻🦇✨

Thank you Angela 🙏🥰 I’ve always been intrigued by the illustrated version of the Somnia because I’ve heard it’s got completely different vibes than the original one! And I have to admit that sometimes I’m put off by those photos with the shroud and the rope and the water so maybe I should get the illustrated one ❤️ I think that Halloween is a good mix between scary and fun 🤩 I love the Trick or Treat, so well done ❤️

@@fairlighttarot yes, the Trick or treat is a childhood Deck for me, for inner child work.🥰 the illustrated somnia does really have a completely different vibe for me. The Lack of realness, the different color sceme (yellow!) and the fact that it is drawn, as you were reading a fiction novel, makes it great for me to use🥰

This was fun! Just MO, but I don't see the Obscuro as any darker than Murder of Crows or Somnia ~ I guess different things hit people differently! BTW I was able to get the Tarot Obscuro from the author's website but it was a bear to track down, at least on my query!

Thank you 🙏🥰 And I agree about the Obscuro. I think I’ve become slightly desensitized to the theme due to decades of reading and watching horror stories. I’ve seen some decks that are truly dark, perhaps even too much, not because of the imagery but rather the concepts that they express. To each their own! Thank you for watching 🙏🥰

Hiya Silvia! Saw your other video showing Tarocchi Gialli today & immediately looked it up & found it, yay! Weird thing is I’m working on a massive project & was going thru photos finding gorgeous pics of an old friend. Didn’t connect the dots until this afternoon when I was checking out the deck more as I’m so drawn to them. Um, now I know why. He did a bunch of Italian horror, thriller, “spaghetti westerns” films in the 60s-70s. The only one I’ve seen (Hatchet for the Honeymoon in Italian: Il Rosso Segno della Follia, even has a Wikipedia entry😮) that he starred in was directed by Mario Bava who was mentioned as inspiration for the deck! Think I need it or what😉? Actually was telling hubby & showing him the deck right before I watched this- synchronicities! You always have such interesting pairings; I usually go by instinct or mood. Many times people are shocked at the combos but they always work so🤷🏼‍♀️? Much 💚! Jet 🧡🎸🎶⚡️🤘🦋🏍🦇🦇🦇

Hi Jet 🥰🥰 That’s amazing!!! Sometimes life just gives you a sign and you just have to listen! I have a strong connection with that deck 💓💓 It’s not just my personal love for the genre but also the way in which Nick Ribera has integrated the events that shaped Italy during those difficult years into the images. I’m taking my time with it because at times it feels overwhelming but I highly recommend it and I’m so happy you were able to secure a copy 😍😍😍
