Stationed in San Diego during the mid 80s - 1990 and visited Sea World quite often. Found this video and it brought back lots of fond memories, thanks for sharing!

Thank you for uploading this video. I remember seeing this show at Sea World Ohio back in 1980 when I was in kindergarten as part of a field trip. I bought a Shamu puppet and a castle aquarium of Sea Monkeys that died before having a chance to see them lol.

I was actually looking for the BMX bicycle show they were showing in the 80s when I stumbled onto this video. The pantomime is the guy who used to make my dad laugh everytime

I worked at SeaWorld San Diego in the 1980s. Who's the mime in this one? He's fantastic! I remember Marc Wenzel & Doug Roberts, but I don't think this is either of them.

Hey glad you liked it! The first mime in the video is Loren Gilbronson, he came up with probably most of the core bits that are still used in the “front-of-the-glass” preshows today. The mine in the preshow at the end of the video is Michael Joyce, I believe he went on to be a producer and ended up writing the shows “Pirates of Pinniped” and “Marooned”.

I’m trying to find if the female sherrif here is named Joanne or “little jo”. Can anyone help? I used to visit sea world when I was only 7 years old back in 1980. I went there so often that I got to know everyone. Even some of the trainers. And she was one of them.
