My life has changed completely. My little humble home was on Sanibel hit Headon by hurricane Ian. Massive distruction and deaths. Gusts to 190mph. I packed my car for four days. Then evacuated. I thought I would go home. No bridge to get there but the entire island was under a 20foot storm surge from the Gulf. Rivers are flooding we are trapped. No power. Tainted water. Military helicopters bringing supplies. Terror. This song eased my broken heart. My mom was Slavic. It makes me have even more empathy for the Ukrainians, this natural disaster. Thank you.
