I thoroughly enjoyed this game. I put it off for so long due to being a scaredy cat and hating jump scares. But low and behold it entered my top 10. I'm just glad more people get to play it. Hope you have a nice day and keep up the good work.

I think my biggest issue with horror games is that I've yet to find one that I want to go back to, that I find fun beyond the novelty of the scares within. They also tend to overlap with genres I don't really care for, to begin with. Like, there rarely is much for me besides the creepy stuff that I'll know about already if I were to revisit the game. I mean, when I look at Resident Evil or Silent Hill, you basically just run around from puzzle to puzzle, avoiding the awkward combat that they still want you to deal with during bossfights, and in the former's case : pray that you did bring the right items with you, otherwise you'll have to manipulate that one zombie's AI for the tenth time x) I'm very much part of those who love gaming horror as its own level, or brief moments/implications here and there, in otherwise much cheerier games. Kind of like Pikmin 2, Majora's Mask or Bug Fables and whatnot. I do have a softspot for randomly-generated stuff, though, like Mystery Dungeon games (those are very good at scaring the player in the gameplay sense xD). So that aspect of this game does sound nice to me, maybe I'll check it out :D

That's a fair point. I do like replaying games like the Silent Hills and Detention because I just love experiencing the atmosphere, visuals, and storytelling of the games. Also, other playthroughs can be good to piece together more aspects of the story and symbolism that you may have missed on a first playthrough (if you are playing that kind of horror game) BUT I don't exactly do other playthroughs of these games like SUPER often. I gotta really be in the right kind of mood to do so. That's just me, though. I can definitely see where you're coming from if you're more of a "game mechanics" kind of person.

I do kinda wish I brought more attention to that in the video, but hey, maybe its best to let people experience those games with less spoilers

this game has always looked super cool but I will never be able to fully enjoy it because even as obvious as the cardboard cutouts are I will never not jump at them of all the things

Fun fact: the creator of spooky’s jump scare mansion also created lost in vivo

HD's endless mode was really fun for me. My main gripe with the main game is that it was very easy dealing with one at times. But in HD's endless mode, up to five can chase you at once, making it really interesting to see how each combinations of different specimens can bring to the table

I grew up playing Blood 3D, that kind of ruined horror content of my life since i developed an Evil Dead 2 & Army of the Dead taste by blasting horrors with a sawn off, so i always felt Silent Hill games and other horror games that rely on survival kind of lame. And there is Pathologic, stress is superior to horror.
