Have been there three times in a row! Hoping they’ll be open again this fall despite the virus and the sort. The Colony maze had always been a favorite for me because I always got a Resident Evil 7 (RE7) kind of vibe going through it to be honest. That pet cemetery you mentioned when you first walked in with the torches and the sort used to actually be this large and creepy house you’d have to walk into first when you get into the maze, that’s where that cemetery with torches and the sort is now and that house like I said gave me a RE7 kind of vibe. But overall really loved the spooky environment of Nightmare NE and definitely recommend it to anyone who lives in the NE area and/or beyond if you’re out of the NE area looking for a spooky road trip adventure for any Halloween 💀👻🎃

2020 was my third year working on the hayride and I love it! But hearing that they discourage drinking at haunts in NY makes me jealous 😂 it'd be fine if it was only after guests came through the attractions, but drunk customers are the worst :\ The first scene you described from the hayride is referred to as "farm" (there is a sign that says "Hidden Valley Farm" as you enter, but it's kinda buried behind branches), and I'm glad it seems like you got to see a lot of actors that night! Do you remember the date you visited? Maybe I was one of them :P

Hi! I've worked on the hayride at Spooky World for 3 years now. For covid, we were not allowed to touch anyone, but under normal circumstances, we would. I don't know yet how 2021 will be. If you don't want to be touched, I recommend sitting in the front. If an actor gets on the trailer and approaches you, ask nicely or state firmly that you don't want them to touch you. If you are serious and polite, we respect that. If you were to start egging us on like "BRO DON'T TOUCH ME YOU CAN'T TOUCH ME WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO" (actual words from customers), we probably will >:)

@@maxladue993 yes please!! It's $8/hour, about 6 hours a day, maybe more it depends... We usually show up at 5, scenes at 7, and work till the customers are gone ~midnight If you follow Spookyworld on Instagram, they post important dates if you wanna come to orientation! They haven't announced the date yet tho
