@@3AHoles I disagree. Might be different in various MMRs but I generally see people help, even sacrifice themselves for each other. This is one of those things that you need to start with yourself and people around you kinda catch on. Had a lot of games where the gate was 99% open and all 3 people came back to save the one being hooked and face camped. Of course with various degrees of success from 4 people escapes to 0 people escapes. You do not really have any strong incentive in DBD to win so playing to have fun and/or challenge yourself is oftentimes preferable. As a long time LoL player this teamwork mentality is why I love DBD so much.

What I tend to do to ask for heals is holding crouch near teammates, since it resembles the healing position.
