The first mori only happens on players who have a legendary item, aka those who roll a 20 while opening a chest. It's a 1 in 20 basically.

@@MagicMonkey96 Finktions picks up the eye at 9:07 (you can see it on the player icon, and on the player at 12:00); first hook at 6:47, second down at 12:24 doesn't have a "Kill" option, so i think it's an alternate Mori with hook state requirement. Third down is at 13:22, and reads "Recover Artifact" instead of the usual "Kill", like the others do.

On the survivors’ side, whenever they open a treasure chest, an animation plays of a D20 roll. On a roll of 20 (colloquially known as a “Nat 20”), the Eye or Hand of Vecna appears. Therefore, there is a 2.5% chance for the eye and a 2.5% chance for the hand every time a chest is opened. A roll of 1 (or a “Nat 1”) converts the chest into a mimic that traps nearby survivors. A purple addon (The Bag of Holding) guarantees that 2 of the 7 treasure chests roll a 1.

@@camtwan1 They might be right. The trapped survivor needs to succeed on a series of skill checks to free themselves, so they should be trapped for at least a couple of seconds. Maybe they only saw the end of the survivor being trapped. Even still, this isn’t really even them complaining. You should probably lay off of them a bit. I dont know if they’ll ever be able to implement Predator, just because of the lack of tree traversal alone. Without that, it just wouldn’t feel like Predator. Maybe Predator in DbD could jump and climb on walls, roofs, but that would be one hell of a recoding process for every map.

@@desvaughan736 I can see traversal of trees and maybe roofs done very similarly to how the Xenomorph goes underground and is able to essentially track peoples footsteps. Obviously if you're high up then you're going to be seeing more of the map than an underground tunnel but mechanic wise I can see it being similar. Maybe give Preddy a stack mechanic that when at max stacks, it can leap on a survivor from high up for an instant down, or maybe the same thing but instead of a leap it uses the Plasma Caster

This is so clearly a passion project, sure we haven’t seen this requested too much from the community, but y’know people with interests make the game too right? There are mimic chests on the map. Basically if the chest as small eyes on it, its a mimic. As opening the chest you roll a dice and the number tells you the rarity of the item you get.

the few things i noticed as a dnd player from ths vid: Veccnas Spell book is called The Book of Vile Darkness and its a book sought after by Lichs and necromancers because of its potential in capable hands. a Lich is just a wizard who couldnt bring themselves to part with life so they underwent a ritual to bind their soul within an item called a Phylactery, whenever a lich dies their soul returns the phylactery where they can comeback to life after a delay (no mechanics for this unfortuantly in game but still cool) and the hand and eye of Veccna were parts of Veccnas body that were cut off by Kas (Veccnas second in command who betrayed him) and every time Veccna returns he seeks out his lost body parts because they make him whole but also because they are often used against him (think the one ring from lotr and Sauron).

Whenever a survivor has attuned to the Hand or Eye of Vecna AND they’re at 2 hook states, you can kill them even if you don’t have a mori offering. That’s what the faster mori animation was! You can see who has the Hand or Eye on the left, it will appear separately than the other Magic items. Only one of the two can appear in a given trial, and you can see that you can kill them with the “Recover Artifact” option instead of “Kill”

I love how Vecna is essentially a Swiss Army Killer. He has a good anti-loop ability with Mage Hand A good long range power with Curse of the Damned Good location power with Dispelling Sphere and also An amazing mobility ability with Fly

I've played him for a while today and i found him a bit on the weak side, long cooldowns, easy counters, and if a survivor gets a nat 20 holy shit you're fucked, the survivor's Hand is WAY WAY overtuned

I actually hope that this killer opens up the potential for BHVR to revisit old killers and give them new abilties. Give some older, more one dimensional killers like Michael Myers, Trapper, etc an ability wheel for extra abilities Give ghost face an extra ability where after stalking a few players he can call survivors phones like the movies (lol). Where killer instinct activates revealing positions as their phone rings like Dokkaebi in RB6. In short, maybe they can add ability wheels for other killers

The fact his giant ball punishes survivors for being greedy and working on gens or survivors for not being aware of their surroundings, is going to be so fun. I like when killers get new ranged attacks. Not alot of killers with them. Most killers are just main attack based.

I realized something, Vecna is going to be able to hard counter people trying for pallet saves thanks to Mage Hand. It doesn't matter if someone's friends are hiding while someone manages to crawl under a pallet, just slap the hand on right before picking up and go.

Most don’t know yet that if a survivor has a Hand or Eye of Vecna, and Vecna downs them, he can instantly kill them which is think is so cool.

The vault speed perk should be inverted, break pallets faster, vault windows slower. I would never take it how it is now over bamboozle and there's only 2 perks for the break pallet action

The only thing I'm "worried" about the map is that it's VERY large. Good thing for me that I'm maining Dracula alongside Wesker. Dracula MUST HAVE tp in his power.
