Great video!! How about making longer lengths ×3 and braid the 3 strands together? Can sew or knot top/bottom to use in project. So many fun uses and also great as use like edging and tying 2 sides of cardi together. Using smaller gauge shoelaces!! Ahhh mind is going now!!

What a fabulous idea! So much nicer and lasting than the ones I used to make as a child out of construction paper, lol

I see scarves or at least ends of scarves for children with autism as something for them to fiddle with. Maybe even go all out and do a puzzle piece scarf with the ring pattern on the ends... This video was next on auto play...I can barely knit let alone loom knit but had to watch this and comment.

that is interesting - if you did long strips , going length ways - could make a nice warm scarf, would be more sewing though , got me thinking now :)

+Sheri Carde, I simply love it when fellow crafters think outside of the box! Would love to see what you do with the idea!

I'm making curtains. Do you think I could use those links for the loops on the curtain rod?

+Sarah Contento I believe you could, although I would double strand the yarn to make the links stronger. I love the idea and your creative thinking! 😄

The square chains piece you made would be good to put hot pans on or plates.

Nice video, EXCEPT @ 4:25 minutes - "knot it and sew in the ends". Okay, I get the knot, but you didn't demo "sew in the ends". Nevertheless, very clever.
