Just saw the first race, I had a friend back in the early 74 took a junkyard 74 Datsun B210 and dropped a 289 in it while on leave, nothing fancy, pretty much stock, but let me tell you.....back then it ran strong even against stock BB's.....he was killed in Vietnam, Helicopter Door Gunner just a few days before the war ended. The car sat in his mom's garage for years. This Datsun is awesome and quick! Thanks for a great flashback Spoold Media.......now back to video.

I know radial tires are faster but they sure do eat up some cars. You can't lift fast enough to keep from stuffing it in the wall.
