Really cool. Couldn't you use that head as part of a shaving horse and then when you press with your feet it would separate the jaws against the seat plank? That's what i thought at first. Seems like then you could use one seat base and have two tools. Just a thought. I'm always trying to save space.

I'm surprised I was guessing you had bent pieces for your jaws. The wider base makes sense now

I'd most like to see the shape of the hole for the pinchers, I'm hoping the pencil lines on the outside are true to hole size. I need to make one of these.

Do you have any Intrest on making plans to build your spoon mule with all possible measurements... or would you make me one?
@jodyford5542 жыл бұрын
Any chance you can post plans on your website?

Hello, what’s the purpose of that key through tenon?? I’m trying to understand why is it below the frame?.. do you have a sketch or a drawing of this somewhere?
@demastust.22774 жыл бұрын
It's literally to keep the working piece fixed to the body of the mule, that's all. The key adds pressure in an up and down motion, spreading the mortised piece of wood downwards onto the frame, but also locking it on. Though I could be entirely wrong and it's just for decoration
@Josef_R4 жыл бұрын
The key is a wedge. You drive it in with a mallet and it locks the whole thing together.

You may want to draw up plans/sketch. If you do with exact measurements as a duplicate to yours, I will buy them off you. Will you consider my offer.
