@@LeoBassCovers2 hahaha no doubt 💯✌️ Yeah, it’s tough to be consistent in that track, a lot of delicate intricacies between fretting and harmonics 🫠🤘

This definitely made my day, an amazing bass tab cover! It's very refreshing to see bass tabs for grunge acts like Soundgarden. Very few bass tabs are on KZbin for Soundgarden which pains me; I'd love to learn how to play songs like Let Me Drown, Jesus Christ Pose, My Wave, and Overfloater.

Thank you very much! Hopefully I can do more Soundgarden soon :)

You can totally learn them! You just have to listen.

Dude Soundgarden is one of my favourite bands ever and there's not nearly enough good bass tabs out there. Really hope to see more of them from you!

Hey Leo, what setup did you use to achieve this tone with your Warwick? I'm curious what you've done here to get this sound.
@LeoBassCovers2 Жыл бұрын
Hey Liam, this cover was actually recorded with the Sire jazz bass. confusing, i know, but a 4 string has a better setup for a song like this one. Way more punchy basically
@lXMindzAskewXl Жыл бұрын
Is it just me or do the tabs shor E and you're playing A?
@LeoBassCovers2 Жыл бұрын
In which part? or just the string? Cause I'm not touching the low B string if that's what you mean
@lXMindzAskewXl Жыл бұрын
@@LeoBassCovers2 i see the problem. The tablature shows it as a 4 string bass, but you're playing a 5 string so it's just excluding the E string as it's displayed.

Yup!

Nice playing! But I've never quite seen someone play the bridge like that. I don't think it's totally accurate.
@LeoBassCovers2 Жыл бұрын
I've checked it a lot of times and to me, all the online tabs are really off when it comes to bridge

@@LeoBassCovers2 To my ears the bass does the same riff as the guitar that comes in later.

I take it back. Now I'm hearing it your way.

Looks like you're trying hard for carpal tunnel syndrome. Might want to look into that a bit.
@LeoBassCovers2 Жыл бұрын
Will do, thank you :) I don't play bass that much (only for recording the videos). I think it's also the angle of the Warwick that kinda makes me hand bend this much
