@ not quite there yet. To clarify I was doing paladin/necro at first. I just got to duegar camp and I’m worried about the forge fight. Still trying to figure out how to archer/familiar cheese it.

And, if you really want to go bonkers with summons, grab Necromancy of Thay and Tharchiate Code to get Danse Mabre for some ghouls (can't control them sadly), learn from the Scroll of Bestial Communion to get the Summon Deva spell (this one not quite necro-specific but still a summon), and get Wyll's Infernal Rapier to summon a Cambion (maybe not necro-specific but another summon lol).

Well, I guess if you take those items, you're more of a general summoner than a necromancer lol.

Currently playing a character using some of the suggestions from this video. Using the "Warped Headband of Intellect" so I could set my stats a little differently.

The warped headband of intellect is unreal! You can add 1 level wizard + that item and get 4 prepared wizard spells. If you pair it with another full caster you can get level 6 spells like globe of invulnerability which is very powerful and doesn’t scale off any stat. Also conjure elemental is another great choice

@@JasonDunna Would it be possible to start with Fighter or something for the concentration advantage, then wizard with warped headband, then just go 10 druid? I'm really new to Baldur's Gate 3 (only started two days ago - about 31 hours in), so if there's a better class to start with for this build could you recommend any? Thanks - loved this video!

Hahaha thanks bro! I actually was planning this build for so long but it required a bunch of testing to get right. It’s even better with the Danse Macabre which gives you 4 more ghouls. Summons really turn the tide with the action economy that bg3 has. All those summons at the end were without having to raise the dead so it gets pretty crazy!

Hey buddy. I really like your videos. See, i want to play a dark urge run soon. Im playing my first playthrough atm as a nice and kindhearted bard. Could you do a build guide for a dark urge, nasty, dark and evil themed partyface build? Whould be really nice cause no builds out there really seem to be cool to me. Eldrich blast builds are boring to me. As a partyface i dont want to Spam eldrich blast.. Also i want to use warlock into my dark justicar shadowheart already. Something like a dark oathbreaker/sorc or something like that? Whould be cool!

Thanks so much! That’s a great idea and sorcerer fits the theme of dark urge really well, especially since the gear you get from the playthrough is mostly charisma focused. I actually have a build in mind that combined sorcerer and oathbreaker so stay tuned I may have something put together this weekend! I’ll reply to this comment with the video

@@JasonDunna Thanks allot dude! Finally a Build that really fits my needs. Dark Urge builds mostly run arround Warlock.. And thats not my type of gameplay.. I want something With more flexibility and Fun combat. Not just hitting the red button every turn.. :D Im hyped!!

RP idea: you are the absolutes attempt at creating a wood elf to infiltrate the druid conclave and destroy it from the inside.. upon being taken by the flayers and implanted the worm takes your memory of what you were meant to do.. upon meeting karlach you feel unusually drawn to her because of her hardships and inevitably falling for her and siding with the tieflings and druids.. using your dark powers to foil the absolutes plans

I really want to make a Duergar Spore Druid. Give him double hand crossbows to combo with symbiotic entity. Plus I want to go duel-weilder to add even more necro damage to my attacks. And also be able to Enlarge my character so he is doing extra 1d4 on attacks. All the while, I am crowd controlling the hell out of the field.

I tried what you said but found instead of going for 18 wisdom change it for getting some sorcerer spells as you get magic missile which is one of the best in game

Great and informative video! Is there any reason why you would not want to multiclass with the wizard much earlier, say after level 2? Do I understand correctly that you could still level up the druid to level 10, but get the ability to learn scrolls sooner?

Yes totally, you can put a level of wizard anytime there’s a spell you want, using the circlet of intelligence you can get 4 prepared spells for things like shield, and magic missile

@@matthewklein5071 what level are you? The Druid and Wizard are both full casters so you should be able to learn it

@@JasonDunna lvl 8 druid and lvl 2 wizard - I assumed more druid levels would not effect my ability to learn higher lvl spells as that is a wizard ability

@@matthewklein5071 circle of death is a level 6 spell so you need to be minimum level 11 to learn it!

You cant go 11 levels druid and one wizard if you want to take necromancy. You can if you only want to learn spells.

I didn’t go 11 levels of Druid with this build though. I’m not sure if you watched the video, but what you are saying is correct

@@christinehede7578 For a 1 level dip go sorcerer. You get a subclass a level 1, and most importantly, you gain saving throw proficiency in constitution which saves a feat and helps the druid with their great concentration spells.
