Spore - Predalien

Here's the 45th of the Weekly Request series, set to run every Friday! Select the (i) in the top right corner of the video to open up the poll and vote on next weeks creation. To spice things up a bit, I've chosen the 2nd-most-voted options in the last 5 polls.
The Predalien has been one of those characters that I've been hesitant to try, like Cthulhu, Predator, and so on... it just looks too cool to risk spoiling it! But I am incredibly happy with how this turned out. I found a lot of different interpretations and styles so I went with a bit of improv to make this, but how it's textured out in the end gives me a bit of a classic-Spore feel, which I adore. It reminds me of SniperMonkey, G3NJI's and Xervantez's creations, which were some of my earliest inspirations. This'll be among one of my favourite creations :D

I'm glad you are continuing your builds despite leaving Spore.com. I'll missing being able to see your unmodded creations in my game but the community isn't what it used to be and we've lost a lot of good creators over the years. Plus it's simply and old game. Lots of people have forgotten about it. I've learned a lot about creating creatures by looking at yours and others' like AnUBISELEAsS and CopperLou. I even discovered Sculptris through your channel. Hey, cheers for the message :) And you can still see my unmodded stuff in your games, just unfortunately there won't me much more. But, if I do ever get round to making more unmodded, they'll be shared alongside the modded stuff at DeviantArt.com (I've not started on this project yet but once everything is shared, you'll see a lot of links). As you said though, yeah the community just isn't the same all round. I miss Anubis and CopperLou, Odonost and a few others too, they were some of my biggest inspirations. I'm travelling atm, but I'll check out those suggestions when I come back home. Thank you again :)

I mean we have already had the most epic dinosaur (the Therizinosaurus) and its not as if spore rudy will be bigger than a regular spore baryonyx mad by DarkEdgeTV, they will probably be similar sizes, personally i'm voting for ridley but i dont see why Rudy is the most voted for.

Do you have a special version of dark injection? I managed to download dark injection on steam spore, and mine looks a lot different.

She's using an outdated version of Dark Injection 9.r I gave her shortly prior to the start of the Open Beta. Also Steam Spore is likely interfering with the mod.

Adding onto what Rob said, I believe mine also has some custom UI changes and a different background, to retain that vanilla Spore look. Just personal preference :) The later versions of 9.r are a lot more modified.

Okay I have a weird request. How about a Tully Monster? When I first saw one I thought, "that looks like something straight out of Spore!" but it doesn't seem like anyone on KZbin has tried to make one yet. I'd love to see your take on this weird little fossil creature!

If you already have a registered Spore account, yes I believe you can log on, but do so with caution

You can't make an account with a pirated copy. You'd need the registration key from a legit version. Maybe you can log in with a free trial account, but I have no idea how that'll work

I think SniperMonkey was one of the first big Spore creators on KZbin, while G3NJI and Xervantez were pretty big for their humanoids within Spore.com - I can find some links for them if you like

Yes, go to the main menu Galaxy and check out the top left Editors/Creators (can't remember the exact name), select that and it'll take you to specific editors for the game, with all parts unlocked, just so you can create for fun.
