Great video---thanks for posting. I purchased an 8" dark smoke from Dennis Kirk website--a little cheaper and it seems to work fine. I am 5'7" so the 8" is good. I also upgraded to the Harley Sundowner saddle, which is more comfortable and gives the passenger a wider seat, although I do really like the saddle you have. In addition to the windshield, I just installed hand guards from Memphis Shades which are a nice addition. I originally considered the mustache engine guard, but went with the standard. Also replaced stock derby cover and air cleaner cover. The most recent upgrade was Kuryakyn Kinetic mini boards for rider and passenger--love 'em. They look good, are easy to install, and make the ride more comfortable.

Very smart I have the same model and fitted a 10” smoked slipstreamer model I like the way the edge flows down to the edge of the cockpit fairing. Ride safe

I also have a wicked Red Sport Glide and with Gustafsson. I’m 6’4” so I used the 15” vented. Happy with it would not want anything shorter. From people I have talked to many seem to buy one size too short for their height etc.

Hi MBK Austria :) There is an installation video on my channel that should answer some questions but short answer is that it slots straight into the existing slots and fixings. The screen has no noticable effect on the bike but I do recommend checking the sizing recommendation on their website to suit your height. P.s. I get nothing from Gustaffsen for this info so one biker to another advice only.

I have the 12 inch clear on my also have 4 inch pullback risers and the mustache solo seat with backrest and passengers. My engine guard is black and I have the vine and hine 2into2 big radius and givi top case 56nn and footbroards enjoy your bike and stay safe from a old man on a motorcycle enjoy

I think that looks a better shape than others I've seen. Makes the fairing look better. My bike is black. Been looking at the dark smoke and dark smoke bronze. Risers; what risers have you put on and did you need to change out the cables. Cheers. Spud U.K.

Hi S. If you want to go with a blacked out look I would recommend the dark smoke grey, have seen a 9 inch screen in that config and it looked great. I installed 4inch fat pullback risers and no changes to cables were required. If you go to the 6inch and/or change your bars you will need to extend your cables.

Hi Steve, we do 110kph on open highways, 70 mph = 112 kph so comparable. No issues at all, she works well and flexes as you would expect for any large screen but only a very small amount which was actually surprising. I think the shape keeps it rigid.

Looks nice. I purchased a 7" whichshield but am think I want more wind protection. I did look at the bat wing fairing from Memphis Shades but this 12" screen might be a cheaper option to try first. I also purchased a sundowner saddle and really like it, but I like the look of that saddle you have--brand?

Hi Michael. There is a piece on my channel on the seat, have a look if you like. Very nice seats. Both the batwing and the 12 inch should provide the protection you want, I recommend you decide on how you want the bike to look before making a purchase. There are some good pictures on both the suppliers sites.

Thanks Jack, No issues with visibility of the gauges. I have a GPS mounted for touring so I use that more often for the speedo but in the CBD it isn't reliable due to interference from structures.

I’m 5’11”. Can’t decide between 9 or 12”. What do you recommend. I would like to make sure I can see over it but don’t want to feel like I’m always looking through it or getting hammered by buffeting.

Hi Marc. I squidged down in my seat to about your height and vision is no issue. Still see clearly over the top of the screen even when leaning right back in the seat. The 12 inch should be perfect for you. If you are still concerned about vision go for the clear screen. I need to see if Gustafsson will start paying me a commission :D

I’m 5’10” and I chose the 12”. You’ll have no issues with the view over the windshield. In fact, I could probably use the 15”. At my height I do have some heavy buffeting though. I added the side deflectors, which I love because it actually looks much better, but they also helped a lot with the buffeting. Still some at highway speeds but most is gone. Oh, I wear a half helmet although I probably wouldn’t have any issue wearing my full helmet or none (legal in NH, USA). Hope this helps.

Hi Katie, I suggest downloading the latest catalogue from the HD website as they seem to like to change part numbers. The ones I have were called "Curved pull back fat risers - chrome". They were not listed as specifically for FLSB. The 4 inch ones in the vid did not need the cables changed but I have now gone to the 6 inch and needed all new cables.

Shield looks good. I've been looking at their stuff. I also have the pull back risers. How do you like the Mustang seat? I'm considering getting that same seat. Would really appreciate your thoughts on the seat. Finally you have a very nice Sport Glide. Mine is in Midnight Blue. The Sport Glide is my favorite Harley to date. RSMF.

Hi Reno, Your best bet is to check their website and then the exchange rate. It will be more expensive at the moment (April 2020) due to low $AUD. I messed up my postcode on the order so it took way longer than normal but I think they say about 4 weeks. Worth the wait.
