I was amused by the landing gear popping off.

Looks good so far. did it need any 'rudder" mix with the aileron due to adverse yaw? should be able to tell by rocking the wings at full aileron deflection when the plane is pointed at you or away from you, and see if there is any nose yaw wobble, and what direction. can also tell on video playback. One of the first things I tune on a new model, and develop setting for. I find it best to stand slightly off to one side when taking off, to let me judge the speed for rotation. a li- ion battery would be a good fit for this model, potentially. My friend has been experimenting with one on a converted gas aerostar trainer, and is getting 40 minutes. Find out how much weight the plane can carry. Little bit at a time, of course.

thanks for posting. here are some things to consider. research suggests that the original rq-7 has a high-lift main wing; with a profile thickness of, perhaps, 14%. this model does not. on an airframe this size, having an inverted-v stabilizer in the propwash is not ideal. cheers googletranslate
