Gambling is more about self control and responsibility to be honest. Drugs and Alcohol are far worse because they cause changes in the body once consumed which make the addiction worse. Gambling is something you can do safely if you simply set limits and follow them. Also, never gamble with money you can't afford to lose. If you lose your life savings, that's on you because you shouldn't have been gambling with your life's saving anyway. I completely understand not wanting gambling in sports because it taints the game, but gambling in general isn't bad if people control themselves.

There are so many KZbinrs I have watched over the past two years who cover the NFL, NBA, MLB, and the NHL; A majority usually have a sponsor for their videos, and a majority of their sponsors, would be a sports betting app. It's ridiculous.

There are plenty of things destroying modern sports. Changing rules to cater to sub-par performance... generational entitlement, narcissism and laziness from overpaid athletes with the emotional maturity of a 13 year old girl... all manner of things... sports betting is certainly one of those things
