I think a lot of it is just the time we are in. With the economy cards are going to sell for a lot less then even just a few months ago. Heck every time I tag a card I like on eBay there’s almost a deal that comes through instantly. I’d hold most of those big name cards for things to stabilize before taking that much of a loss.

The TLaw. I can't imagine how much insurance for that Lambo would cost me in my trash home state of RI. Not to mention we have the worst roads in America, so that Lambo would just fall apart. I feel maybe if I lived in a different state I would've taken the Lambo.

This is more showing the massive drop in overall prices on modern cards. It is also showing that hype is short term and even on the upper end of players, it fades. I can point to Jordan rookies breaking a million in 2021 and high 6 figures in early 2022 but having a hard time breaking 200k now. That's the goat of a sport dropping that far. This also shows that sometimes it's better to wait for markets to correct before trying to flip.

Grading is one of the reason why you pay so much for a box of cards, also boxes being valued buy players of the flavor. Group breaking has made prices high also. What you put out in this video is just a small sample of a large issue.

PWCC just laid off about 35 people. Top Shots and Starstock are on the verge of bankruptcy. Still not confident the Panini/Fanatics merger will take place. Seems like Panini wants to sue Fanatics for taking top employees. I sell on Ebay and it is really tough right now even if you have quality cards. I don't even try to start auctions at $1 anymore. Sometimes they just don't get bids. For whatever reason the eyeballs and interest is in a steep decline in sports cards. The last time this happened was in the mid 90s and it took about 17 years to fully recover. My advice would be to stop trying to "flip" cards and collect what you can enjoy. If the cards go to zero then that will be okay.

I’d bet some of those losses come from unknown shill bidding when the card is first up for sale. Now when resold, no one is pumping up the price so the original purchaserlosses his shirt. When big $$$ is involved , don’t you think auction houses want cards to go as high as possible? On a million dollar card, the auction house makes $200g’s.

Food for thought. On United States paper currency it states what that note was intended for. Look at that last word and ask yourself. Would you like someone to worry about what you do with your money and why and publicly show the world your methods to your madness so to speak or maybe your unfortunate issues where they might have to take that loss. Keep that in mind when you make the next video. I personally wouldn't do it because I wouldn't want to bring attention the people that spend that kind of money and take those kind of losses. But to each his own good luck

This video is very misleading. Most cards dropped from 2022 to 2023. Doesn't mattered which example they used. Market correction plays a bigger cause for the loss than anything the investors did

I assume it costs money to set a reserve. On eBay, I tried to set a $1000 reserve on a card and it would’ve cost me $80 regardless if it sold or not
