The funny thing about Indian team is that 3 highly qualified players are sitting on the bench because there is no spot in the team - Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav and Mohammad Shami. One should not go by icc ratings. There are teams that do not play during that window and their ratings drop and there are also teams that play best teams and lose and their ratings drop while a team that wins against minnows and wins improves its ratings.
