Excellent video mate! I always shoot RAW and JPEG. Storage is cheap, and you can really edit RAW files to perfection.

Really enjoyed the video. I use Nikon gear and shoot Ladies Football, but find your content very interesting and informative. May I take this opportunity to wish you and the family a Happy Christmas and a very Happy and Prosperous New Year.

Maybe I could do that. Contact a club by email. I used to be in the gantry of Leeds United with my dad covering a game with a video camera. But that was 40 years ago

I wanr to get into sports photography. Do you think i should buy the sony 70-200 GM2 ($3000) Or Tamron 70-180g2 (1.5k) + Sigma 150-600 (1.5k)

HI there, sorry for the slow reply. Are you shooting on a Sony body? if so, I think the Sony 70-200 2.8 would be the best solution, however, it's obviously much more expensive. I think my second choice would be the Tamron 70-180 2.8. That just gives you a little more scope in my opinion as it's significantly wider at 70 than you can get with the Sigma, so if the action is close to you then you're better placed to capture more of it. That said, I'm not sure if you have another body/lens already as well, plus the sports you want to shoot can make a difference! For example, if you're shooting water sports on a small lake, then the 150-600 could well be more useful! Hope that helps!

I shoot a Sony A9 and also have the Tamron 70-180mm and it’s a great lens. I just wish it had a little more reach. I’m just shooting youth outdoor soccer so I got the Tamron 70-300mm and it works well in bright light. You will get faster FPS with the Sony lens. If I had the cash I would get the Sony 70-200 f2.8. My next lens is the Sony 200-600mm.
