Dan, I agree that the sports world has been boycotting forever. However it doesn’t mean that it’s right. I can imagine what would happen to you and I if we protested while on the job? - we would be unemployed. These athletes are so admired and have great visibility. Why not donate some of their millions to the victims? Become advocates for police reform and community policing that is positive? Will the media cover uplifting gestures by these athletes to inspire instead of divide? Docs statement is heart wrenching. I wholeheartedly agree that we must do better. I disagree that a boycott leads to being better when there are much “better” alternatives. Let’s truly be better! Apologizes for all the betters. 😀
