Many people are not thinking about THIS: He is not tasked with the responsibility to REBUILD this team from scratch. He is getting a .500 caliber squad that he can bolster to a Northeastern powerhouse that shall be a threat in the ACC.

Fran Brown is the guy that can go into the transfer portal and get players from Top Programs that are riding the bench. Come to Syracuse and get on the field and play.Some NIL money could go along way.

Syracuse will need to recruit NJ, and he OWNS NJ. He has the full backing of NJ coaches and the kids love him. He also has strong ties to the greater Philadelphia area and the DMV. I don't know his Xs and Os, but he is well respected among college coaches too. He'll put together a good staff.
