You forgot the most important tip: DON'T insult the merch to a dealer's face in hopes of getting a better price. That is the WORST negotiating tactic ever! If I've got a PSA 4 that you spend three or four minutes looking over, I then don't want to hear you say "Well...the corners are kinda soft. And it's got a faint crease right here. And the centering isn't the best", right before you offer me HALF my asking price that is already in line with comps.

Here is an investment tip. Buy all of Lonzo Balls cards first. And Landry Shamet. Then tell all your viewers to buy those cards. Watch the supply dry up and prices skyrocket. Sell your cards while prices are high and say sorry to your viewers when prices go down. Flipping 101.

He gives you advice and tips but if you can't do your own research and judgement and need him to hold your hand on every little thing, don't bother trying to invest in sports cards, stock market or anything ever..

Except I haven’t sold a single Lonzo Ball or Landry Shamet card yet. Are you mad that you didn’t take my advice last summer and buy them when they were dirt cheap, and you sat back and watched their cards skyrocket in value?

Dean H I would never hype a card and then sell it right away. I doubt Garyvee would either. We both have public reputations to uphold and I’m sure we’d be outed and publicly destroyed if we did that. I’m not saying I won’t ever sell a card I talk about - of course I eventually will - but never right away just to flip it.

Hello ! My question is little off topic but.. I have to get advice from you ! I have a Panini Prizm Basketball Retail box (24packs/4 cards) and three Panini Prizm Cello packs. Do you think I should open them or.. sell them and raise money for a bigger Panini Prizm Hobby box? And also, which box of Prizms is the best ? Thanks a lot !! :)

How can one invest in sports cards when the grading industry is a complete sham with no standards, just hopes n dreams? Having researched the space for quite some time I've come to the conclusion that sole goal of sports cards is to part you with your hard earned money praying on your hopes of making more. The sports card market is borderline criminal, encouraging kids to gamble, opening packs with no oversight or regulation. This is worse than investing in penny stocks. On a positive note this is one of the best channels in the space!
@bradybraun69524 жыл бұрын
Investing in something you enjoy is a nicr approach with cards, additionally to think that you need to buy graded only is ignorant.

Shouldn't people chill on the large gathering events until we can get the Corona Virus under control? Card Shows would be the perfect place for a virus to rapid spread. The large amount of people handling hundreds of cards amongst each other sounds like a recipe for disaster. But... Something tells me, that even knowing the dangers a card show can pose as an ideal place for a virus to rapidly spread, this hobby is full of people who would damn near risk it all in order to not miss out on a deal, sale, or trade.

U need to turn off the fear porn that cnn & msdnc love to scare ppl with. Every year msm gleefully showcase a new virus thats gonna end humanity. Remember Zika? Ebola? SARS? West Nile? Didn't msm promise all those would destroy the world?? But hey its ur life if u wanna spend it hiding under ur bed go right ahead- just dont go around repeating the fear bs u hear from msm.

The virus is real and should be taken seriously but its the same as with any other virus. The majority of those that have died are elderly people with weakened immune systems.
@kronz42004 жыл бұрын
@@stickyfingers02 that's what I've been seeing, too. Notice how they don't mention the youngest person to die from the virus? At least I haven't heard anything about it. And I think it's because, like you mentioned, only the elderly, people with pre-existing respiratory conditions have succumb to death because of it.
@kronz42004 жыл бұрын
@@davidmasci4335 all im saying is, a virus can mutate into something that goes from only being fatal for elderly, and people with pre-existing respiratory conditions, into something that starts wiping out people of all ages with healthy immune systems. A virus mutates as it passes from person to person. Just knowing that should make people think twice about attending large events, just until a vaccine is created. That's my opinion.

Bring hand sanitizer? Will be interesting to see if the virus affects crowds at the National this summer. Hopefully the virus will be long gone by then.
