I put Ray tracing mode on too, I can't see any frame rate drop, still feels like 60fps. Am I hallucinating?

Ray tracing is only active when you aren't driving. Garage, Brand Central, GT Auto, replays, photo mode, and even in the race opening camera cuts before the race starts.
