Only way I know how to make an ice ball is to compress rotate compress rotate many many many more times the average snow ball and harder still and you’ll get the desired effect I would only imagine soaking a snow ball would turn it soggy heavy and soft if not melt it back to liquid form…but with like many other things I could be wrong…

In the early 90’s my dad got up early and built 2 snows walls on each side of ours and our neighbors yard. Then he got a bowl a little smaller and made each wall over 200 perfect snow balls.
