i know lol… the coaching in the NHL imo is pretty ass… biased af. They keep recycling the same old coaches from team to team and they hardly let any new blood in. If your from Europe u have no chance coaching in the NHL. In the history of the NHL there has been maybe 1 or 2 as a side coach. The current Finnish head coach has won Olympic Gold, 3 times the World Cup Gold, also 1 in Junior hockey. His team had 0 nhl players in 2019 when Canada, Russia, Sweden were stacked with guys like Mark Stone, Ovetchkin, Nylander etc. and he beat them all and won Gold. Every year he makes an underwhelming team a contender. But this NHL clique keeps the money in the family and only hire NA coaches.

You know what's the main difference between the Avs and Leafs? The Leafs don't have Mackinnon. There is a reason why people call Mackinnon, Nate the Great. When it matters the most, he comes through. Matthews may be a goal scoring machine, but he can't setup players if his life counted on it. Mackinnon is a goal scorer and a playmaker

@chrisg1556 The Leafs definitely slowed down after the first, except maybe the 3rd line, but if you seriously believe that the officiating wasn't completely one sided then you didn't watch the game. The Avs needed 2 PP to score and win. If they were treated equal all night, odds are they would of lost the game. Unfortunately, this is Bettman's league and it all seems to be decided, often, around sports betting. Colorado is the better team and shouldn't of needed the refs help to win. I've also called out the refs when the Leafs get the upper hand. It doesn't happen often but it does happen.
