No. In 2020-21 because of the pandemic, the Caps had a short season of 56 games and Ovechkin played in just 45, scoring only 24 goals. That snapped his 15 year in a row scoring 30 or more. Currently he has a 3 year streak of 30 or more. That 18 seasons of 19 with 30 or more goals.

Только вот и не вспомнить особо этот сезон у Мэттьюса. А Овечкинский 2007-2008 будут помнить все. КАк он хитовал всех, как он обводил защитников, накручивал их. Овечкин мог всё в свои лучшие годы, он был быстрее и мощнее Мэттьюса. Посмотри, как менялась результативность в НХЛ после введения правил против жестких хитов, уменьшения экипировки. Мэттюс хер бы 65 вообще выбил, играй он в 2007-2008 сезоне.

@@pena380 Nah man I love Ovie... but let's call a Spade a Spade here! Ovie was fine... he simply couldn't move fast for the first 2 Months! First half was the 2016-2017 Ovi... minus the Hitting! Ovi's a Gamer... but he's been known to be out of shape a few times in his career!

@@BAddiesOnDeck 2016-17 Ovi scored still 33 goals and with better luck he would still gotten 40 goals. His ice time was reduced too so he would be better shape in playoffs. First half Ovi this year performed lot worse than that. 2016-17 Ovi started relatively hot too. Best comparision would be last year second half Ovi scored 13 goals in 32 games (also injuries and his father passed). Now this years Ovi would had 14 goals in 44 games without his goals getting cancelled. I think Ovi might now actually had more goals in 2024 than whole year in 2023. Well checked it Ovi had 23 goals in 2023 and now 23 goals in 2024... Let's hope healthy next year and 50 is again possible. Last year he was whole season almost on pace for it but unfortunately things didn't go as planned.
