The LA Kings are the same as the last 2 years while the Oilers have improved 10 folds. Penalty Kill and Defense has improved so much since the 2022 Playoffs for this team and somehow we made the WCF that year. We keep playing like this and we can get to SCF at the minimum.

As usual the Kings went chippy, interesting to see Doubty get a goal but even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. Best game in a while for Deharnais, just strong and focused, tough and protective. Sundays game should be a blowout with chippy, hacky play, probably a 5 goal margin, then back home to eliminate the Kings in front of a loud and appreciative crowd

That place was deader than the Saddledome on a weeknight if the shames were losing to a bottom 5 team. Imagine losing to the same team in sequential fashion: 7, then 6, and now it looks like it's gonna be 5. And the soilers have done everything possible to at least _try_ and give you an advantage by burying 5million in the AHL. Getting punked by 9.25million dollar NURSE on your 'powerplay?' Heads should roll in the FO this offseason in LA.

Hockey can sometimes feel like one chaotic pinball machine to those who don’t appreciate all the skill involved, but it’s really also a thinking man’s sport and I love how powerplays highlight this aspect of it. You won’t find much success just wildly shooting the puck unless you get a rare deflection. But you can strategize a deceptive play to intentionally throw the goalie and his players off for a brief moment of opportunity to capitalize on with precision... as demonstrated beautifully here at 9:24
