Biz you are horrendous as a commentator, can’t even say statistics properly. I’m kidding, thanks for always keeping it real on the pod and showing us fans what we’ve always wanted to know, how NHLers actually live. You, Whit and RA have helped me through some tough times. You’re stories are just the best, from Ovi farts to stripper pimps. Honestly, you've helped me tremendously with coming to terms with being an emotional dude. I actually spit out my coffee on the bus laughing when you made RA talk about getting his ass eaten out the other day. People were looking at me like I was insane. Keep doing you and fu$% the haters out there. I hope to run into you in the Oak Bay area one day.

This comment is not based on this podcast specifically (I haven't listened to it in its entirety yet), but based the hockey central at noon episodes this year, I must say that Jeff Marek is an incredibly weak host and commentator. He provides recurrent fluff pieces, repeatedly asking questions like: "who are we not talking about enough on this team", and not delving into the actual game side of things by asking difficult questions about the gameplay itself. Additionally he cuts off his co-commentators, who are delivering hot takes and more insightful commentary than he is. Consistent fluff pieces about who should be talked about more and how amazing a leader McDavid is, is ridiculous when amazing hockey is being played before our eyes and the game could be broken down so much more eloquently. It is extremely difficult to listen to this after a time, and I have now given up on Marek for providing solid, relevant insight or predictions ... I'm not saying this as insult to the show, as I believe people like Brian Burke (although I don't always agree with his takes, but who at least offers something relevant to say), or Colby Armstrong ( who provides relevant breakdown of games and adds a great comedic value) really add something to the show. Ultimately I really believe that to maintain with the competition of this market, serious game insight must be provided and the repeated fluff delivered by Marek is hard to take as a fan of the show and of hockey.

Anyone who refers to themselves by their own nickname, especially when that nickname is "Biznasty", is Class A Tool. You can grow a rat tail, drive a Prius, and wear Zubaz and a fanny pack and be less of a tool than Paul Bissonnette. God help the millennials who get their hockey news and information on KZbin from a Never Was.
