The give and go relies on the ability to “go”, play the body whilst he has the puck and even if he just dished it interference is rarely called

WTF, NHL is a joke. The Perry goal last game was already a super soft call for that little bit of contact way before the shot was fired and that little bit of skate that was in the blue. But to allow the Michkov goal and waive Hyman off, is hillarious. His skates are not in the blue, and it`s the own defender pushing down the pad. Never ever should the Michkov goal count and the situation with Hyman be waived off. It must be the other way around. If you allow the first goal, you can never ever call the 2nd. Never.

And then it`s the own D that makes the last contact with the blocker that pushes it down, when the shot is fired. That should be a goal. It's simple. Hyman was in the crease, without the puck and bumping into the goaltender. Michkov was outside the crease banging at a loose puck, his attempts were all directed at the puck and not the goalie's pads. It was close but Michkov looks like the real deal, he's been incredible so far

Wasn't his goal, but he's definitely been involved in the most disallowed goals in history and I'm sure it's not even close. There's a clear bias against the Oilers when it comes to the officiating whether on the ice or from Toronto, but was nice to see the Oilers win despite the reffing.

Because Skinner never had a control of the puck. If he pressed it to the ice with his pad or a glove then it would be no goal. The same rule as a catch in the football.

Felt good to finally win one, and not just against the Flyers, but also against the refs and the league as well with how much they were trying to help out Philly! Defence still needs to be a lot better, but we finally showed some desperation and fight and it paid off with a big 2 points! Who knows, this could be the turning point of the season!! Big shoutout to Perry and Stech as well for sticking up for their teammate👍🏻
