This was the best game of the season. This was right after what happened to Damar. The Buffalo community spirit was sky high. They showed up for the Sabres and the Sabres showed up for them.

Just to give some perspective into how far the Sabres have come. Last year, 32-39-11 (.457), took us 60 games to get 20 wins. Now were 20-15-2 (.567), and we've taken 23 less games to get to 20 wins. Incredible. I think this team is gonna make the playoffs.

Adams won't let him go unless they get a VERY good offer for him, but we really need a physical defenseman and one more experienced forward to be set for a playoff run. How does Patrick Kane, a defenseman, and a high draft pick from Chicago for Mittelstadt, Olofsson, Rosen, Portello, and a draft pick sound?

Eichel being gone is great for the sabres from the perspective of he was treated like the golden child here by management (which is their fault), but it doesnt change the fact that it created a weird power dynamic in the lockeroom. With him gone its no longer anyones “team” they collective look like a cohesive unit with no heirarchy of power amongst the players. Thompson dahlin are superstars, but everyone just seems so calm, cool, and relaxed without eichel looming over thier heads if that make sense. Management ruined eichel in buffalo, they wanted him to be mcdavid so badly that they treated him like a princess and it led to unending issues.

Refs didn't call Tuch getting knocked down by a Wild player, then didn't call him ragdolling another Wild player in retaliation. Then they don't call Skinner getting hooked, nor calling him on retaliating by holding the stick of the Wild player who did it. Then no call on that blatant offsides. Good lord, what were they doing? Either way... 5 games in Black & Red, no losses, 6 goals in each game. Yeah... I don't think anyone is beating the Goatheads this year.

Really excited to see the rematch in MN, Hockey Day in MN which is a really cool day up here. Being a season ticket holder, the atmosphere will match Buffalo’s that night! My favorite all time jersey is the Buffalo dark blue jersey, so they are one of my two favorite teams out east, the other being Tampa. Wild really made a mistake letting Tuch go to Vegas - Guerin never would have never made that mistake, previous regime got raped by Vegas, causing Fletcher his job. As I watch this, Buffalo is down to Philadelphia 4-0, my Wild watched the Blues goalie play Houdini last night and lost 3-0. The night before, the blues lost to Montreal - crazy. It’s such a long season and can be so bipolar at times, just enjoy the gems like this one…
