The multitiered skywalks open to the city as ample terraces. Far better than a single narrow skywalk concealed by some metal sheets with a design copied from a shopping mall in Southampton that will never look like in the renders.

Maybe they added them later, but you could have looked for a better example. Anyway, it is obvious that there`s a great variety of historical cultures, but the architecture we enjoy today typically has facades with open-air elements.
