Runner-up - James Mitchell. This one more for his potential and belief in his ability, but Campbell continues to rave about his blocking, and he still has yet to drop a pass in his 3 years, 12 for 12.

Campbell, Nieman, Rodriguez, Nowaske... This is a really depleted position for us, possibly a big problem. They're all gonna have to really step up in order for the defense to maintain the success it's been having.

I expect Rodrigo to keep stepping up and be a prominent piece for the rest of the season. But truly, this team needs to keep that O-line healthy down the stretch. Injuries to that unit would be most detrimental to team success.

Agreed, but whoever filled in for Decker last week did an amazing job. Was it Skipper? We had some injuries on the line last year - Ragnow missed a few games, Jackson, and we still seemed to be fine. Love Hank Fraley, huge part of the success of our line, excellent coach, very much the unsung hero of that line's success.

That's obvious, unbelievable we got him at all in the first place. Brad Holmes just can't seem to help himself when he sees opportunity to get a guy for cheap. Give Davenport credit though, I predicted he would be gone for the season by game 2, I think he made it all the way to game 3.

@@benjamincasper7615 No question, and because of Holmes ' expertise, we have a ton to spend too. But - you might be surprised, this really seems to be an ingrained thing with him, to bring talent through the draft, and not get bogged down with bloated salaries of quality free agents. Detroit became a very desirable destination even two years ago, but the only prominent free agent signings we've made were Garner Johnson (bargain basement price), and now Smith (necessity). It's worked so far. He may take the approach, "if it ain't broke don't fix it."

And my favorite defense acquisition? Reeder!!! Ask the linebackers and safety’s how they feel about him! Watch film…. He’s double and triple teamed on every play. Ask hutch about the historical start he had before his injury and who he might credit for freeing him up!

I don't pay attention to the gambling but I'm good at understanding it all. The way to win big is to bet against the trends. Such as the recent Kansas City loss -- every game they won during their winning streak increased the odds of them to keep on winning - you bet against them winning another game simply because a streak like they had is unheard of in the NFL.

If I were betting I'd bet against the Lions winning on the road because they're 5-0. Teams on the road typically only win around 40% of those. 60% chance of winning your bet looks great.

When you place a bet that is 13 point favorites the line for the game is 13 meaning in order to make money they have to win by more than 13 points and since they are so heavily favored you have to bet more money to make a smaller portion. In other words when the lions have a 13 point favorite in order to win that money line the lions have to win by at least 14 points. Also to make a 100 in profit you would have to bet 1000 dollars meaning you spending a lot to make a little compared to the other team where you would have to bet like 5 dollars in order to win 100

Reality & real life is what it is!!! Sh*t happens!!! Anyone stepping up to fill in any gaps actually need to STEP UP!!! Those with little or no real playing time in such a position need to fkn STEP UP!!! That opportunity is their magical chance in the NFL. They do well, they will be afforded more chances & opportunities! The starters have proven themselves consistently, that's why they are starters. Backups need to be prepared in all ways to fill a void if injury occures! That's real life. Although this is in actuality a meaningless fkn *GAME*..... Trillions of dollars ride upon it as well as life altering opportunities for most involved with it, or those profiting from it.
