You just can't put virat and rohit at same place virat has done alot in test cricket as compared to rohit. Virat will be back brother in England tour i can bet my life on this but in rohit case he I can't becoz he is not good in test as a captain as well as a batsman look at his record outside india in test miserable. Virat will play his last test series or some matches in England tour otherwise he will drop himself or surely drop by selectors but rohit is retired now for me

We should have a min. point system required for a player to qualify for playing tests for India … by playing domestic cricket… Any cricketer who does not have the min. Point required, will not be picked for the Indian squad… This will ensure we are fair with all players… senior, junior, debutants…

Hey these rules and BCCI ka gussa doesn’t apply on Virat he will do what he wants sadly. It was MS Dhoni that kind of started this culture if you remember famously how back then hi team mates would complain that he ain’t available though he tried to correct it towards end of his captaincy and Virat took it to next level because he didn’t value people around him much and that’s where people were fond of Rohit and now Rohit and the coach as well not around and seniors on their own makes things worse too 🤷‍♂️

I think because of family travelling with them so only this optional practice also came in so that in the name of optional practice some of the so called superstars they would get time to spend with their family Finally I feel do not mix your professional life with your personal life keep both of them separately when playing cricket focus only on cricket and be with your team on and off the field and when you are free from your international duties then spend time with your family because of cricket you are running your family this cricketers should understand hence cricket should be your first priority ofcourse family is also important but when you are free from your international and IPL duties then you can spend your time with your family but when you are playing cricket focus only on cricket for every tour do not take your family there are many legendary cricketers who played for india when they were playing for India they would not take their wife with them for every tour they too were missing their family a lot but they knew that because of cricket they are running their family so they didn't want to mix their personal life with professional life and hence whenever they were playing cricket they would focus only on cricket and when they were free from their international and domestic cricket they would spend time with their family which nowadays the so called superstars are not following
