Can I assume you are running on 36 volts. Are you using three (3) 12 volt batteries or one (1) lithium 36 volt battery?

How long were you be able to be "nimble and safe" at that location? which ulterra was it?

Does it make much difference the way it's mounted on the side instead of the bow

If the motor were mounted farther down the side they would start to see control issues, but where Chris has the motor mounted in the video is not sacrificing much if any control.

I just bought an Ulterra for my pontoon. I noticed this one was mounted on the side. Does it cause tracking issues this way? I am thinking about mounting mine on the front, on the port side. Will this cause any tracking issues?

Nobody in these commercials brings up the problem of choking on the power wire while in spot lock. It is supposed to know when it has turned too many times in one direction and then work its way back to the original setting. But they don't always do that and you get a choking situation. Then it shuts down and you drift. This is a flaw I wish they would explain.
