Nice to see a video from you again :) I played Thena up to infinite yesterday and she is great, but like you said niche to some decks. I will chill a few weeks and likely get Arishem next (with tokens because oh god this week in spotlights sucks). I think the other cards looks mediocre compared to last months strong cards.

While you do talk about it, it would be fun to replace S,A,B,... tiers with something more approachable, like "will let you play best decks", "will let you play lot of archetypes", "will improve your decks but is replaceable", "open if you like the archetype but you won't miss having these too much".

Arishem is absolutely a no brainer pick up imo. going for archetype building cards is always good. also i will 100% play an arishem deck with only 5 and 6 cost big bodies and leave it up to the rng to give me a playable curve which the +1 energy will also help with a lot, i imagine.

Here's a few cards I think could go well with Arishem: Adam Warlock, Skaar, Sera, Agent Coulson, Magik. I really think this is the deck for Adam Warlock to shine in. You'll have more energy, so you'll be able to get ahead at one location, and you'll be able to play Adam Warlock on Turn 4, so you can get you an extra draw

Phastos Scoffers Unite! Finally, someone who predicts that Phastos is going to be trash. I'm in the opinion that Phastos will be Snowguard release bad because of consistency. The +2 power is the desired effect as Hope Summers is more reliable at providing resources to play additional cards at the same energy cost.

Phastos is a surfer thanos card (when you dont draw hope) and sersi is underrated and makes absorbing man+2 drop a viable option

The devs said in the discord that it’s random for each card, so you could draw one card have it reduced 1 and then the next draw will have increased power

I think Sersi is not a Blink, Sersi is too win more for me, if you are trying to transform a jub or ghost rider then those card probably pulled something really strong already so I would rather play the 7 power from Sersi in a different lane, Blink can do this but Sersi can't, so being forced to play Sersi into the lane I am transforming seems like overkill adding also Sersi's 7 power as well...for me she isn't versatile enough like Blink.

A lot of reviews I've seen on Makkari have either been high or low on her with no mid. I'm in the low to mid camp, especially in Surfer as there's a lot of competition in that deck and a free 3 (5 with Surfer) power in a random location that could potentially clog you and has no interaction with the opponent (Killmonger, Red Guardian, Nocturn, etc), just doesn't seem great. Appears to be an easy skip week, but happy to be proven wrong.

Phastos easily replaces either Okoye and Nakia, or both in a Surfer deck. I imagine he'll also be solid, perhaps even a snap condition, if you draw him on curve in an Arishem deck.

If Lady Deathstrike was her old self of 5/4 destroy anything with less power, i could think of some cool stuff to do with Phastos. The old Lady Deathstrike really appreciates both of Phastos buffs. So does Black Panther. Imo Phastos goes in Surfer or some decks with 5 costs that leverage both effects well.

Modok, x23, and spider ham shouldve been proxima/cull, pixie/mockingbird, and red guardian/red hulk. The fact they arent releasing those makes none of these worth it especially with the swap of gladiator in thenas week. Just keep recycling the same cards, ig im glad its not knull again

I don't get why everyone sleeps on Arishem. Most ramp decks don't need to play anything till turn 3 and still win. Arishem gets you the ramp turn 1 you start by playing 2 drops. You get to curve out right away and still play big cards at the end like a normal ramp deck.
