It seems that Netflix, Hulu, Amazon etc content are creating for more demand of such sounds. This is the first time that demands are now Real. Expect the future to have many pop artists to start using these types of sounds, instruments and percussion instruments. STILL IN NEEED LOTS OF SCRIPTING for such complex instruments to be properly played/programmed. The demand is booming real by the day, yet very little content. Good start. One of the main problem with such instruments is in many DAW there still is a lack of scale settings on the fly. Logic has the ability but still needs a lot of fiddling with. I hope that we can soon have this issue taken care of the micro tuning and known scales from the planet by country name. My money will go to the first DAW that can do this on the fly instead of manually doing this.

I have seen a Middle Eastern percussion app for mobile that has wonderful patterns in different rhythmic styles especially claps are there in it. That is one major thing I have not seen in other libraries and I am not sure whether this library has it or not. That is something specific I am after.

I cant wait when NI will release Jazz & Blues things like that... Just imagine! A messy room, red lights, open window - outside you can see 1940s.. Inside: guitar, harmonica, and early bulky electric piano... They dont play melodies as solo instrument, instead they do rhytmic patterns, 3 or 4 kinds of... Recorded somehow with authenic sound of Robert Johnson era blues recording. So all you need to do is to compose the lyrics, which will start from the phrase: i woke up in the morning.... Jazz... Well, you already got the point! :-)

WARNING For those who want to buy: READ: I think they spent most of their budget on the art work instead of creating the sounds them selves. Buying middle eastern sounds from western sound makers are just like when white people speak spanish with American accent. You cant microtune, use ethnic middle eastern scales, etc. the sounds in it are good quality but has nothing to do with their original sound. Especially the SAZ. If you want realistic middle eastern sound try taqsim solo vst, or ethna sound kontakt packs.
@hamsteralliance2 жыл бұрын

Really unsure about turkey but iran and then Arabs have very different instruments. There are quite a few common instruments between iran and the Arabs. The most common example would be daf and mazhar or Santoore and qanun and ofc oud and barbat. There are a huge range of instruments in iran that aren't in Arabic music. Tar, setar, doumbek etc. But yeah to an extent the instruments are similar; Just like india and iran and the rest of south asia being similar
