Spotlight on... Friends in Love and War - L’Éloge des meilleur·es ennemi·es au macLYON

Discover this exhibition on the theme of friendship through the words of Marilou Laneuville, Head of Exhibitions and Publications at the Musée d'Art Contemporain de Lyon, and Melanie Pocock, Artistic Director of Exhibitions at Ikon Gallery. Together, they explore friendship, art, and the relationship between France and the United Kingdom.
The unique collaboration between three cultural institutions-the macLYON, the Ikon Gallery in Birmingham, and the British Council-launched the British Council's UK/France Spotlight on Culture 2024 programme #TogetherWeImagine. It showcases over 20 artists from the British Council Collection and the macLYON collection.
At Ikon Gallery from 2 October 2024 to 23 February 2025, in celebration of Ikon’s 60th anniversary.
With Fluxus Art Projects and the British Embassy in Paris.
