I'm sorry but it really bothers me that we as a people who lived in the projects once they reached high school was enrolled in a school that was built particularly for African Americans named after an African American Man which is an HISTORIC and ICONIC Landmark for African Americans, has now been compromised to serve those that do not live in the neighborhood. Who will travel many miles to be schooled for those that qualify with special gifted abilities or High Standard GPA. What that tell me is our kids that live in the project will not be accepted. Shame on the Fort Worth Black Chambers of Commerce, Fort Worth NAACP, Fort Worth City Council and Fort Worth ISD for compromising such a school with so much cultural value and memories made by those that sacrifice so much to make ISAIAH MILLIGAN TERRELL HIGH SCHOOL the Legend and Icon that it was.

I hear you, but if its any consolation my child is bussed to the new school and we are not "priveleged". We just took advantage of the Gold Seal program. Its a nice diverse group of kids from ALL of Fort Worth.
