We caught up with Ngani Laumape following his selection in the starting 23 for this Saturday's Bledisloe Cup clash in Sydney. Who's excited to see Ngani back in black?

He's truly one of the best centre of the modern game and I was disappointed when he got dropped from last world cup for SBW. That was a big mistake by the AB. He acknowledged the support from the family and the Man above. Wow! That's BOLD!!! 👌
@qcthesxientist4 жыл бұрын
Alb was imo the player who shouldve stayed home. ALB probably is the best centre for the game the all blacks want to play but more in a hes consistently very good when everything's working type of way that doesn't suit high pressure situations like laumape, goodhue and sbw who can all make a big play happen when things stop going the all blacks way.
@matthewwaaka59834 жыл бұрын
@@qcthesxientistlol yeah nah, ALB is our most consistent midfielder whether we're winning or losing. He has good vision and ball distributing skills and he reads the game well. Laumape not so much, you give ball and he run 💪. A strong runner yes, but that's about it.
@qcthesxientist4 жыл бұрын
@@matthewwaaka5983 alb is great but I think hes definitely a player that becomes a liability once a game closes up. The way he tries and fails to make extra go forward once tackled basically means he never actually is able to create quick ball when the all blacks start to try and work up the phases which they do when there down on points late generally. Idk Im just some ass hole on the Internet but to me alb is probably the wrong player to pick at 13 and to me the centre lineup should probably look like 12,laumape 13, goodhue but the real cool thing would be laumape and rieko ioane just to see what pure talent can do to teams.

Thats a big call mate. Nonu was spacial and close to an all round perfect midfielder, so Laumape has alot of work to do to fill those shoes or even be mentioned in the same category.

@billbilly77534 жыл бұрын
@@andrewaupaau.2312 Thing is both have similarities in career paths to this point. People forget that Nonu wasn't picked in 2007and that created a stir at the time. He went awy and expanded his game. Laumape has also done that, his defense is better and has incorporated a kicking game. Yea it's a big call but i like how Ngani is tracking

Heaps happy about Wrecking Balls selection. What a beautiful beautiful family that surrounds him.☀️🌻 I hope they cut him some slack like they do the other ABs. I get the sense from the selectors that if he does one thing wrong he's out of the team. Dude should be the foundation of the midfield like the Sun with everything revolving around him and should have been at the RWC.

I still felt he should've board the plane to the RWC. A situation similar against England in the semi final was when his trade was highly required. Had a different ball game at 12 that could've made a difference and that's all was needed from the ABs, I tiny opportunity. Anyways, I'm glad he's back in the fold.
