Johns HARD work toward bettering Limas east side is amazing. I have eaten in every city he has created a restaurant in. The latest Lima location, bringing back Casa Lu Al is super BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS. I say again. What a lovely place. I cried happy tears of joy reading his story in Nanno's cellar. Those are my memories too. Simpler times with togetherness and family all around. You had to. Money was always tight for us too. You could expect a Better outcome sticking together and making the best of what you had..that's my memory. The constant nurturing of every community the Good Food Inc. team decides to build in, is just GREAT. The man is a genius. I'd like to thank John personally. Give him a big hug! THANK YOU!! The work these fellas did is remarkable. What a place.

Good for downtown Lima. Gonna poke fun here a little bit & say that “Spanish” is not the word you’re looking for (not interchangeable with taco/Mexican culture-not the same thing), re: Vista Taco. Spaces all look really nice. Happy for Lima to see a Casa Lu Al revival, as well as it getting its first duckpin bowling spot!
