I personally think the loss of life in any conflict sucks. As long as the enemy has a little bit of fear and/or doubt that gives us the advantage.

I was at LMSC when we were asked to work on the original GBU-28 bunker buster designs. The idea to use milled Howitzer barrels was only reasonable option given the time constraints. I left Lockheed in the late 90's so I was a surprised that basic design took so long be replaced by the GBU-72. That said, if you're talking penetrators, it seem you should have mention the GBU-57A/B MOP. For my tax dollars, that's the true Mother of All Bunker Busters.

Necessity is the mother of invention, and when you have an entire stockpile of old gun barrels you no longer will ever use, someone decided to try using them to dig a hole in the ground to get to a bunker the enemy has over 50 feet down, and the GBU-28 was so successful that it can reach bunkers 100 feet underground, meaning even the deepest of Hamas Bunkers are well within reach of the aging bunker buster. New ones are now utilize rocket motors to accelerate them just before impact. making them even more successful.

Taurus cruise missile is most definitely not deployed to Ukraine since the German government unexplicably refuses to send them to the Ukrainian air force, although Great Britain and France have delivered similar weapons (Storm Shadow/SCALP-EG) months ago...

They might already be doing this, but maybe they could shape the explosives in the bomb into a somewhat smaller diameter so that the blast is concentrated more on a single spot, kind of like a shaped charge, but not that pronounced.

Wrong photos used you showed blockbuster bombs which were designed to wreck buildings above ground not the Tallboys used on Tirpitz. Tallboys weighed 12,000 ponds Grand Slam weighed 22,000 pounds they were design to penetrate deep into the ground with the shockwaves being able to collapse bridges and other targets without a direct hit. They were considered Medium Capacity MC with around 50% of the weight in explosive fill. Blockbuster HC bombs were high capacity with just enough metal to get them to the target in one piece safely.

"Now the missiles (Taurus) has been sent to ukraine to help there" (14:42) is incorrect. As of time I watch this video (on 29.01.2024, 23h after release) the german goverment still has not agreed or permitted to bring the Taurus to ukraine.

They sold them to Norway and they sent them to Ukraine. When the new weapons deal comes from the US there will be Cruise Missiles and more modern weapons so this war can end.

Awesome that we have these weapons. The only thing the likes of the world’s political bullies understand is hard power. We can offer the juicy carrot but always have a big stick.China has shown it’s true face withTaiwan it’s partnership with Russia /putin.Taiwan is a democratic independent state they don’t want to be bullied ruled by China likewise Ukraine wants to self govern. Its sad though we had good relations with Russia and China sad its come to this cause we need each other.

you have got to love videos like this where the creators can't even take the time to fix the narration when it "spews out" statements like "US Fighter jets struck a underground shelter for civilians killing 400 people, with the narrator's tone saying that was something good! All of these channels use auto voice generating narration software, to generate "CLICKBAIT" videos to make money without even taking the time to listen, edit, what the software has produced!!!! ***** PLEASE UNLIKE, UNSHARE, UNSUBSCRIBE and COMMENT on how they need to do a better job! time stamp 2:50 -3:00 where they "as a matter of fact stated The US killed 400 civilians! " SPOTLIGHT YOUR CHANNEL is so very sad lets see if they even respond to and or fix their REALLY MESSED UP WAY OF MAKING MONEY!

98% of casualties are civilians is 100% bullshit. American cluster bombs have a under 5% munition failure rate at their worst. Notice how their first example was the U.S. using a bunker buster destroying a civilian shelter. Most often besides the rare tragic mistake of misidentification which the U.S. should be proud of the diligence we use to avoid such things. Civilian casualties are regretfully caused by using civilian's as human shields. The U.S. spends a ridiculous amount of money on out military. But I don't think most people realize how much is spent on the accuracy of one modern weapon systems. People often focus ways to move on how efficiently we can destroy the enemy targets. Ignoring how such precise destruction also avoids destroying anything that isn't the intended target. A great accomplishment America figured out was how to take the huge quantity of stupid bombs that we still have leftover from WW2 into smart laser guided precision bombs. Not only did we save a ton of money. We saved a ton of lives and property like no one ever had before.

😮 taurus expoted in S korea 2016 ??. ( taurus only exist in 500 km range international laws fobids export ) this is why stormashadow/scalp exists 350 km range for export ( and 500 and even 1000 km range in marine version NON exportable) 13:34 the vid says taurus in 🇺🇦 ?? And only missile doing this and this haha it has NOTHING special even worst his quite fast and easy detection and ( from memory ) no suivi of terrain with on board maps. The stormshadow have. ANYWAY germany said NO many times you should ban this taurus from vids. For your knowledge germany has/is signing a développement witk korea for a 350km version of the TAURUS..2023/2025. Check your data about exporting any.missile > 350 km range ...it is FORBIDEN
